Championships in the equitation 14 – 17, and 18+ age divisions and medal wins in the CPHA Jr/Am, USEF Pony, Carousel Jr/Am, and Hudson, along with red ribbons in the PCHA Adult and Foxfield 18+ medals made for an impressive week of equitation efforts by CH riders and their mounts!

Chestnut Hill hunter riders captured champion or reserve champion ribbons in the Pre-Green, Children’s Modified, Low, Medium Pony, Small/Medium Pony, and Short Stirrup 10 & Under divisions.  The equitation riders won big, bringing home blues in the Washington International Hunter Phase, Taylor Harris Children’s Medal, PCHA Horsemanship 14 & Under, and Horse & Hound Pony Medal.  Congratulations to all!

Tanya Vik, successful dressage rider and trainer, returned to Chestnut Hill on Sunday, March 16 offering one-on-one lessons for Chestnut Hill riders wishing to improve their flat work. Tanya worked with each participant to accomplish the goals they had laid out.

Kat Taylor and her veteran equitation mount, Poeme, brought home blue ribbons in the CPHA Child/Adult Medal, and the PCHA Adult 35+ Medal, won a red ribbon in the Foxfield Medal, and nabbed a yellow ribbon in the Marshall & Sterling Adult Medal.   Emilio Lehmer and his new pony Nick of Time, won the Schooling Pony Hunter division.  Bridget Twomey was again awarded the “Best Adult Rider” award.   Click on “Results” for a complete listing!
